Q:  What type of battery does the ZOOMA e-Scooter have?

A:  48V – BATTERY 10.5ah Lithium-ion.

Q:  How far can I travel before having to recharge the battery?

A:  Up to 40km wind and weight dependent.

Q:  How long does it take to recharge the battery?

A:  Around 4-6 hours for a full charge, but a lithium battery can be topped up anytime too.

Q:  How long with the battery last?

A:  Around 2-3 years or 300-500 charge cycles

Q:  Can the battery be replaced?

A:  Yes.

Q:  Can I store the ZOOMA e-Scooter with a charged battery?

A:  Yes.  Store the battery at about 40%/60% charge ensure the battery is not left in an environment above or below -20℃/50℃.

Q:  Does the scooter work as an ordinary scooter when it runs out of charge?

A:  Yes it runs just as a normal scooter when it’s turned off.


Q:  Can I access spare parts?

A:  Yes, we have a fully stocked factory in Labrador on the Gold Coast.


Q:  Is there a warranty?

A:  Yes, there is a 12 month warranty .


Q:  What is the top speed of the SC Industries ZOOMA e-Scooter?

A:  42Km/h or Limited to 25 Km/h in Australia.  Tap the MODE button to toggle between the 3 levels of gears (1<2<3) which you can do while in motion.

Q:  How do I use the remote key? 

A:  When the ZOOMA e-Scooter is turned off, simply press the lock button and the anti-theft function will be activated.

The ZOOMA e-Scooter will sound an alarm when it vibrates or moves you can turn off the anti-theft function and turn off the alarm by pressing the unlock button.

If your ZOOMA e-Scooter is locked, you will be unable to turn it on and will need to press the unlock button in order you to be able to power it up.


Q:  Does the  ZOOMA e-Scooter have suspension?

A:  The ZOOMA e-Scooter has front and rear suspension with a maximum load of 150kg.



Q:  Does the ZOOMA e-Scooter have lights?

A:  Your ZOOMA e-Scooter is equipped with a Headlights, Tail light, brake light, indicators and a Horn which can easily be activated from the Dashboard


Q:  What are the running costs of the ZOOMA e-Scooter?

A:  Similar to a bicycle, with the additional cost of battery replacement every 2-4 years. Power costs about 30 cents per 100kms. When used as an alternative to a car, an ZOOMA e-Scooter can pay for itself within a year.
